This Cookie Policy explains how Truecrush Pte. Ltd. (“Truecrush”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on our website and services. It also explains your choices to manage or disable cookies. We want to be transparent about the data collected via cookies, as part of our commitment to user privacy and compliance with laws like the EU ePrivacy Directive/GDPR and relevant U.S. state laws. We use cookies to make our site function properly, to understand and improve user experience, and to support our marketing efforts, all while respecting your privacy rights.
By using our site, you may receive cookies or similar technologies on your device. You will be presented with a cookie consent notice when you first visit our site (especially if you are in a jurisdiction that requires consent, such as the EU). You can choose which non-essential cookies to accept or reject through that interface. You can also change your preferences at any time. This Cookie Policy provides detailed information to help you make informed decisions about cookie use.

Cookies are small text files that websites save on your browser or device when you visit a site. Cookies often contain a unique identifier and store basic information like user preferences. They can be “first-party” (set by Truecrush’s domain) or “third-party” (set by a different domain, such as an analytics or advertising partner). Cookies can be session cookies (which last only while your browser is open and are deleted when you close it) or persistent cookies (which remain on your device for a set period or until you delete them).
Similar technologies include things like web beacons (tiny transparent image files used to track actions on a webpage), tracking pixels, local storage objects, and SDKs (for mobile apps). In this policy, for simplicity, we refer to all of these as “cookies” or “tracking technologies.”
Cookies serve various purposes, such as enabling site functionality, storing user preferences, logging usage, and generally making your browsing experience better and more personalized. However, some cookies can also be used for advertising and tracking across different sites. Below, we describe the categories of cookies we use and why.
When you use Truecrush, the following categories of cookies may be set:
Type | Purpose |
---|---|
Strictly Necessary Cookies | These cookies are essential for the operation of our website and services. They enable core functionalities such as security, network management, and accessibility. For instance, authentication cookies keep you logged in as you navigate the site or move between pages, so you don’t have to log in repeatedly. Without these cookies, services you’ve asked for (like accessing secure areas of the site or using shopping cart features, if applicable) cannot be provided. Because these cookies are necessary for the site to function, they are always active and do not require your consent. You can technically block them via browser settings, but parts of the site will not work without them. Examples: session ID cookies, security tokens, and cookies that remember your cookie consent choices. |
Functional Cookies | These cookies allow us to remember choices you make and provide enhanced, more personal features. They are not strictly necessary, but they enhance your user experience. For example, functional cookies may remember your site preferences (like your language or region selection), or other customizations you’ve made. If our site has a “remember me” option at login, a functional cookie might enable that convenience. These cookies can also include certain media player cookies (for video or audio playback), or chat widget cookies that remember your chat history. Disabling these may affect some of the non-essential functionality, but the core service will still work. |
Analytics Cookies | We use these to collect information about how visitors use our website, to understand which pages are popular or how users move through the site. This helps us improve how the website works. For example, we might use analytics cookies to see that most users spend time on profile pages or that a specific feature is rarely used, which can inform our development priorities. The information collected by these cookies is typically aggregated and anonymous, but could be tied to a unique identifier. We use third-party analytics services (like Google Analytics) which set their own cookies to perform these services. These cookies might log things like how long you stay on a page, error messages, and link clicks. We use this data purely for improving our service and user experience. We will ask for your consent before placing analytics cookies (depending on your location). If you opt out, your visit will not be part of our aggregated statistics from these tools. |
Advertising & Tracking Cookies | Truecrush itself does not host external advertising on our platform, but we do utilize certain tracking cookies to assist with our marketing and to understand our audience. These cookies record your online activities (including visits to our site, the pages you’ve viewed, and the links you’ve clicked) and may track you across other websites and services. They are used to deliver content or ads more relevant to you and your interests, and to measure the effectiveness of ad campaigns. For example, the Facebook Pixel on our site sets a cookie that helps Facebook recognize you as a visitor to our site. This can enable us to later show you a Truecrush advertisement on Facebook (or Instagram) that might be relevant (this is called retargeting). Similarly, if we send a marketing email with an embedded tracking pixel, it might report if you opened the email or clicked a link, which helps us gauge engagement. Advertising cookies may collect information like device identifiers, browser details, and browsing behavior. Any advertising cookies on Truecrush’s site are primarily related to Truecrush’s own marketing efforts (i.e., promoting our platform). We do not allow third-party advertisers to directly set cookies for their own marketing on our site (no banner ads from random ad networks). That said, third-party tools like Google or Facebook may use the data from their cookies for their broader advertising purposes according to their privacy policies. We will request your consent for these cookies where required. If you do not consent or if you opt out, our site will omit or disable these tracking cookies, and you might receive a more general, non-personalized marketing experience from us. |
Other Third-Party Cookies | In addition to analytics and pixels, our site might occasionally include content or integrations from third-party services that set cookies. For example, if we embed a YouTube video or an Instagram feed on a page, those platforms may set their own cookies to track video views or authenticate your session with them. Similarly, if we offer a referral program or partnership feature, partners might set a cookie to track referrals. We endeavor to list these in our cookie consent tool so you’re aware of them. These cookies would typically fall under the categories above (functional, analytics, or advertising) depending on their purpose. |
For transparency, here are some specific cookies or trackers you may encounter on Truecrush (this is an illustrative, non-exhaustive list):
The above cookies are examples; the actual cookies in use may change as we update our site or change providers. We maintain an updated list in our cookie consent management tool on the website, where you can see all active cookies and their purposes.
Some cookies are placed by third-party services we integrate into our site and web app. These include analytics platforms, marketing partners, and embedded content providers. They may collect and process data according to their own privacy and cookie policies.
We use cookies to:
Some cookies may be linked to other data we hold about you, in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
When you first visit Truecrush (and periodically thereafter), you will see a cookie banner or pop-up asking you to set your cookie preferences. You can choose to accept all cookies, reject non-essential cookies, or customize your choices by category. We will not set analytics, functional, or advertising cookies on your browser unless you consent (where required by law). Your preferences will be remembered in a cookie (cookie_consent as noted) so that the banner does not repeatedly appear. If at any time you want to change your preferences, you can do so by visiting our Cookie Settings link (usually found in the footer of the site or in your account settings).
Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings preferences. You can usually block or delete cookies – but if you do, be aware that some features of our site (and others) may not work correctly. Each browser’s settings are different, but typically you can find cookie options under the “Privacy” or “Security” section of the settings or preferences menu. Options might include: blocking all cookies, blocking third-party cookies, clearing cookies on exit, or sending a “Do Not Track” signal (discussed below). Consult your browser’s help documentation for specific instructions:
As mentioned, you can opt out of Google Analytics specifically by installing Google’s opt-out browser add-on, which prevents Google Analytics from collecting information on your visits to sites that use it. Similarly, you can adjust ad personalization settings in your Google account to limit tracking. For Facebook, you can manage your ad settings through your Facebook profile (Ad Preferences) to control whether you see personalized ads and whether Facebook uses data from partners for ads.
If you prefer to opt out of advertising and targeting cookies beyond our site, there are industry opt-out sites you can use. The Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) and the Digital Advertising Alliance (DAA) offer tools to opt out of many participating ad networks. Visit http://optout.networkadvertising.org or http://optout.aboutads.info for more information. In Europe, you can visit http://www.youronlinechoices.eu . Keep in mind: opting out typically uses cookies too – so if you clear your cookies, you may clear the opt-out and have to opt out again. Also, these opt-outs usually stop personalized ads, but you may still receive generic ads.
If Truecrush has a mobile app and uses mobile ad identifiers for tracking (IDFA on iOS, GAID on Android), you can opt out of targeted advertising or reset your identifier. On iOS, go to Settings > Privacy > Advertising > enable “Limit Ad Tracking.” On Android, go to Google Settings > Ads > enable “Opt out of Ads Personalization.” This instructs apps not to use your ID for targeting. Truecrush will honor these system settings.
“Do Not Track” is a browser setting that signals to websites that you do not want to be tracked. However, there is currently no standardized way that websites must respond to DNT signals. As such, Truecrush’s systems currently do not respond differently to a DNT signal. We instead rely on the cookie consent and opt-out mechanisms described above. If the industry or legal standards around DNT change, we will revisit this practice.
GPC is an emerging browser or extension setting that can communicate a user’s privacy preferences (like opting out of sale/sharing of personal information under laws such as CCPA/CPRA). If we detect a GPC signal from your browser, we will treat it as a valid opt-out of cookies that constitute a “sale” or “share” of personal information (specifically, we would disable advertising/marketing cookies or similar tracking) for that browser, consistent with California law. You may still see our cookie banner because we want to ensure we capture all preferences, but we will honor GPC in addition to any other choices you make.
If you disable or reject cookies, please note that some parts of our Service may become inaccessible or not function properly. For instance, if you block strictly necessary cookies, you might not be able to log in or use essential features. If you block functional cookies, some preferences might not be saved. We will do our best to still provide you access, but the experience might be limited. We do not require you to accept any non-essential cookies to use our site, but without certain cookies, our ability to provide a personalized experience will be affected.
We participate in interest-based advertising. You can opt out from seeing personalized ads through:
Note: Opting out won’t remove ads, but may make them less relevant.
We use Google Analytics and Google Maps API Cookies to provide core features and analyze website usage. By using these services, you consent to their cookies being placed on your device.
You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on .
For more on how Google uses cookies, visit Google’s Cookie Policy .
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time (for example, if we add new cookies or if regulations change). We will let you know of any significant changes by updating the date at the top of this section and, if the changes are material, by providing notice on our website (such as a notification or banner about the update). We encourage you to review our Cookie Policy periodically to stay informed about our use of cookies. Your continued use of Truecrush after any update to this Cookie Policy will constitute your acknowledgment of the changes and your agreement to the updated policy (to the extent permitted by law).

You can also reach us via the contact address provided in the Privacy Policy above. We will be happy to assist you with any inquiries, including requests to provide more detail about the cookies we use or to address issues you might be experiencing with managing cookies.
